Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of sentcroft.com and all related content, features, and services (collectively, the "Site"), operated by Sentcroft Private Limited ("SentCroft," "Company," "we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using the Site, submitting any form, applying for membership, or registering as a delegate, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
If you become a SentCroft member, your membership is additionally governed by our Membership Agreement, which takes precedence over these Terms for any conflict specific to membership. Delegate pass purchases and sponsorship fees are additionally governed by our Refund Policy. Our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy describe how we handle personal data and cookies and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2. About SentCroft
SentCroft is a by-invitation intelligence network for leaders in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Law and Intellectual Property, and Emerging Technology, and the organizer of the AI Governance, Trust & Security Leaders Summit series, including editions in Singapore, New York, London, and Dubai. Except where an edition's date, venue, or programme is expressly confirmed, all forward-looking dates, cities, speakers, and programme details on the Site (including any marked "Tentative") are indicative and subject to change; we will update the Site as details are finalized.
3. Eligibility
The Site and SentCroft membership are intended for business and professional use by individuals aged 18 or older, acting on their own behalf or on behalf of an organization they are authorized to represent. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you submit is accurate, current, and complete.
4. Accounts, Applications, and Invitations
SentCroft membership, delegate passes, and sponsorship packages are made available at our sole discretion, whether through open application, invitation, or referral. Submitting a form does not guarantee acceptance, membership, event access, or any particular outcome. We reserve the right to accept, decline, or revoke any application, membership, pass, or sponsorship at our discretion, including where we reasonably believe information provided is false or misleading, or where acceptance would be inconsistent with the exclusivity and standards of the network.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to, and not to permit others to:
- use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any form, including impersonating another person or organization, or submitting an award nomination in bad faith;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, or use automated means to extract data, content, or attendee/speaker/sponsor information from the Site without our prior written consent;
- interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems;
- reproduce, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Site or its content without our prior written consent;
- use any content, insight, report, or attendee/speaker information obtained through the Site or a SentCroft event to compile a competing product, network, or event without our prior written consent;
- upload or transmit any virus, malware, or harmful code.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, the SentCroft name and shield mark, video, photographs, reports, and the compilation and arrangement thereof, is owned by or licensed to SentCroft and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to view the Site for your own personal, non-commercial evaluation of SentCroft's offerings, no right, title, or license is granted to you in any Site content. "SentCroft," the SentCroft shield device, and related marks are trademarks of Sentcroft Private Limited; you may not use them without our prior written permission.
7. Event Participation Terms
If you attend, speak at, sponsor, or exhibit at a SentCroft event:
- Conduct. You agree to conduct yourself professionally and respectfully toward other attendees, speakers, staff, and venue personnel. We may remove any individual from an event, without refund, for conduct we reasonably consider disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with the standards of the network.
- Photography and recording. SentCroft events are photographed, filmed, and in some cases recorded or live-streamed for archival, marketing, and reporting purposes. By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded, and to SentCroft's use of resulting images and footage across its website, marketing materials, and future event promotion, without further compensation, unless you notify us in writing in advance of an event that you decline such use, in which case we will use reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
- Badges and passes. Delegate passes and badges are personal to the named registrant and not transferable except through our formal substitution process (contact us in advance of the event). We may deny entry or badge access if this rule is not followed.
- Programme changes. Speakers, sessions, venues, and schedules are subject to change without liability to SentCroft, including for reasons described in our Refund Policy's force majeure provisions.
- Fees and refunds. Delegate pass, membership, and sponsorship fees, and any refunds, credits, or adjustments relating to them (including for postponement, relocation, or cancellation), are governed by our Refund Policy.
8. Third-Party Links and Content
The Site may reference or link to third-party websites, organizations, or content (including sponsor and partner websites) that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.
9. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. SentCroft does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any particular speaker, sponsor, attendee, or programme item will appear as listed. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, financial, regulatory, or professional advice, and any views expressed by speakers or contributors are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of SentCroft.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SentCroft and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or attendance at a SentCroft event, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms shall not exceed the total amount, if any, paid by you to SentCroft in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SentCroft and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located at the Company's registered office in India, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted here with an updated "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. General
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, and (where applicable) the Membership Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and SentCroft regarding the Site.
